Specialist downhole component materials selection
Intetech provided technical support to a confidential customer developing new multilateral well-completion designs. We advised on the use of memory metals for downhole seals; materials selection; the design and the sourcing of well-diversion component materials; and the development of subsurface welding equipment. We developed a risk assessment model to evaluate the economic and well integrity benefits of using new technologies.
