An independent review of water injection tubing materials
Intetech was asked to provide an independent review of water injection tubing materials to identify the most reliable and cost-effective option for onshore, offshore shallow-water and offshore deep-water operating scenarios. The review included gathering worldwide operating experience and estimating well drilling and construction costs to identify the cost impact of different tubing material options. Carbon steel, GRE lining (Duoline), 13Cr steel and higher alloyed tubing materials were all considered. The variables we investigated included the impact of water quality and treatments.
