This is an exciting opportunity to join rapidly expanding IT Department due to increased demand for our well integrity software for the oil and gas industry.
This software is used by many of the world’s oil and gas producers to maintain the safety of their wells and platforms. Whilst primarily based in the UK, the positions do allow the opportunity for international travel if this is of interest to the candidate.
The successful candidate will be degree-qualified software engineer with a passion for software development with the following skills:
Web applications development using Java, JSP and Struts.
Web site development using HTML, JavaScript, AJAX and ExtJS.
Developing database driven web applications using Oracle 10g, SQL, PLSQL and JDBC.
Web serviced and XML
Web applications development using Apache Tomcat
Applications development using Ant, JUnit and Eclipse.
The following skills would be advantageous:
Experience of working in an engineering environment.
Use of version control systems, especially IBM Synergy.
